Blacksmith Shop #1 Archival Print

From: $30.00

SKU: AP0032-1 Category:

The pirate Jean Lafitte and his brother Pierre were the premiere smugglers of the Gulf of Mexico in the early 1800s, operating from the brothers’ blacksmith shop on Bourbon Street. One of the oldest and most beloved buildings in the French Quarter, it is currently the oldest structure in the United States housing a bar. This piece depicts the Blacksmith’s Shop in all of it’s elegant glory: crumbled plaster, leaning timbers, and quiet dignity.
